2 months in and I haven't posted anything....

Well I have been slacking a lot on here...which is basically the understatement of the century. DISNEYYYYYY has been taking up all of my time. I am a lot busier than I thought I would be. But it's absolutely fabulous. I'm gonna start writing about everything shortly but I just needed to say whoops, sorry. :P

2 months! :D

Good evening Disney lovers. :)

Can you guys believe it is only 2 months until I will be in Walt Disney World for 4 whole months? I certainly can't believe it is happening this quickly. I feel like I just found out I was accepted!! I am obviously so incredibly excited. It's hard to focus on anything but being in Disney. It's almost Thanksgiving and I really need to prepare for the end of the semester, that's when I go from thinking about Disney 98% of the time to a full 100% of the time. Dangerous, I know. So I have some good news, mostly for me since you guys don't really know about my personal life haha. But my boyfriend and my best guy friend have made reservations to come visit me while I'm in Disney! This makes me incredibly happy because I know I'm gonna miss him so much and now at least I know the trip is booked! Yay!! I couldn't be any happier right now. I actually can't get the smile off of my face. And on that note, I really have nothing else to add to this. I promise I will be back soon for more updates!

70 days!!!!

Hello my fellow Disney lovers. :)

I am so sorry that I have been bad at posting these days. I have been feeling kinda sick and there was also a hurricane where I am from. So please be patient with me. I am lucky enough that myself, my family, my friends, and my boyfriend are all safe and so are their homes. So now on to the Disney talk. I checked my Tumblr today to discover that it is in fact 70 days until I am in Walt Disney World. It actually feels unbelievable that I am going to be living and working their for four months. I don't think I will ever stop checking my dashboard just to double check that it wasn't just a dream. So with that I am happy to announce that I officially have all five of my roommates and they seem super sweet and fun. I can't wait to get there on the 13th and finally meet them! Roomies dinner before check-in the next day! I also made us reservations for the new and beautiful Be Our Guest restaurant in New Fantasyland. I cannot wait to go there! I've seen pictures and it looks stunning. It's going to be absolutely amazing. I have started packing up my sheets and things because they have just been laying in my parents room in a corner for about a month. They are awesome for keeping it in there so now it is packed up and thrown in my room. So pumped. I started playing Mission Timekeeper the other day. It was so fun but really hard. I took more notes playing that game then I have my entire semester in school so far. Oops? This is what happens when you're a Disney addict. Well I am pretty sure that is all that has happened since I've last updated. I keep making new friends on the Disney groups which is super exciting. Everybody seems so nice. I can't wait to just be there already! I just keep remembering, 70 days. I suppose that is it for now. I will continue to chat in the groups now.

Late Night Registration!!

Well I haven't posted in a while because there hasn't been much new news in my DCP adventure! I do have 3 roommates so far, which is pretty exciting. Just looking for two more and then my suite will be complete! Yay! Anyway, on to the real reason I started writing this haha. Registration opened at midnight! So I have officially registered for my Disney Heritage class! I will be going to school every Monday from 4pm - 6pm from February 25th to April 29th. I have never been this excited to sign up for a class in my entire life. I have dreamed about a class like this my whole life and now I am officially signed up to take it! A scavenger hunt in one of the parks? A visit to another park? No tests? No homework? Just two hours of learning about my favorite place and company in the world. Needless to say, I am excited! It is now 1:00 in the morning and I can barely get the smile off of my face. It just seems so incredibly unreal that in less than three months (yes, yesterday was the three month mark! AHHHHHHH!) I will be living in the happiest place on Earth. Well as I smile a huge cheesy grin I should probably head to bed cause I have an early day tomorrow. Just needed to share my excitement. As the bottom of the course registration said, "See ya real soon."

99 Days

Good afternoon Disney friends. :)

I'm feeling extra happy this morning because it's made it to the double digits. 99 days until I am in Disney World working for four months. I'm a little nervous this morning because I'm thinking about how much I'm going to miss my family, boyfriend, and friends. It's going to be hard to leave them, but I couldn't be more ready to get started on this magical adventure. Being able to work in Disney World will be an absolutely amazing experience and I can't wait to get there so I can be a part of the magic. This is just my random afternoon ramblings. Really not much to update. Just trying to make some friends before I get down to Disney. I'm super excited and know that I will have an amazing time.

DCP Timeline. :)

Hello fellow Disney lovers. :)

Here is where I will be posting my Disney College Program timeline. I really want to remember everything about this experience and I think dates are important. So here we go.

September 6 - I applied for the Disney College Program. I received my thank you for applying email and my Web-based interview.
September 7 - That morning I did my Web-based interview. I then got my email telling me to schedule my phone interview. So exciting. :D
September 13 - I had my phone interview at 10:15 that morning. The woman called me at 10:37 and the interview lasted for 12 minutes. She was super sweet and it went very well. And of course she ended the interview by telling me to have a magical rest of my week.
September 14 - I got an email thanking me for interviewing.
September 18 - I got an email telling me to audition for a character performer.
September 19 - That was the day! I received my Congratulations email! I was accepted into the Disney College Program in only 6 days. That was the happiest day of my life. My dreams came true. :D That day I also accepted my Disney offer as Quick-Service Food & Beverage employee, paid my program fees, and selected my program dates! I will be there from January 14 - May 17. I also had to fill out some additional information.
October 1 - I made friends with a girl and we decided to be roommates. Yay! I also received my Welcome to the Team email! This was extra exciting since it had been a while since I got an email from Disney.
October 4 - I got another email telling me to audition for a character performer. Unfortunately I will be in school the day that my closest audition is happening. We also got our 3rd roommate! My friend from high school! Yay!!
October 9 - We have gotten our 4th roommate! This is so exciting.
October 15 - We got our last two roommates! Our suite is officially complete and everybody seems incredibly nice. Yay!
October 19 - I made reservations for us at the Be Our Guest restaurant! First reservations of the trip!!!!

Well my timeline is complete for right now. I am sure I will be adding a ton of more dates to this timeline as the months go on. So keep checking back for more updates.
